Pocahantas?

Can anyone tell me more information about where Pocahantas has moved to? And what time she meets?

The Kenny's Pirate site says it's at a boat launch, but where it's showed on his character map doesn't seem right... in addition to Disney's website showing her M&G on the pathways of discovery island?

This is a must do for my daughter... the whole reason we are going to AK.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's the spot right before you cross over to Dinoland. From the Oasis, take 2 rights on Discovery Island, and you should be right there.

Does anyone know the best time to see her? Considering it's the highlight of AK for my kiddo, should we just line up there before 10?

When we were there last year the wait was very short, waited 20 minutes and 15 minutes was because of a break. I have to say it was one of my DD's favourite interactions.

I would show up before the time her meet is scheduled. Anytime we have seen Pocahontas, the lines has always formed before she arrived - so arrive early!

Yeah, I like to arrive at least 10-20 minutes before a scheduled meet. Grab a times guide at the entrance or check the My Disney Experience app if you have it to see when she's meeting.

As far as scheduled appearance go, yes. She has been known to show up at the Character-palooza in DHS from time to time, however.

Not that I'm aware of, unless she's filling in for an unplanned absence, like when Cinderella has to take care of business at the castle.

When they have to fill in one, I've seen Mulan or Tiana...(both at Cindy's, for the record). Not saying Pocahontas COULDN'T fill in at Cindy's or Akershus, but they seem to pick from princesses whose costumes are...a bit more lavish, than Pocahontas's is.

When they have to fill in one, I've seen Mulan or Tiana...(both at Cindy's, for the record). Not saying Pocahontas COULDN'T fill in at Cindy's or Akershus, but they seem to pick from princesses whose costumes are...a bit more lavish, than Pocahontas's is.

After I posted it, I realized that, since friends of Pocahontas are often also friends of Jasmine, Jasmine would probably fill in, both because of the costume and because she's a bit more popular.

Yeap. I've seen her too at Cindy's.

I don't recall the line up offhand though...but we go twice each trip (sometimes 3 times) to Cindy's, so...I've seen quite a few there (no need for a Princess Meet and Greet for us, we do it over steak and sodas!)
