I know that RNRC has a demo car set up so that people can try it out before they get in line, but I was wondering if Space Mountain has one as well. I can not remember.

We will be traveling with people in April that may have a slight problem with the size of the rockets.

What are people's experiences with SM having larger body types? I would hate to wait in line with them only to get to load and they not be able to fit.

Thanks.

I am a 5'10" male and used to weigh in at about 310, I never had a problem with any rides at WDW and I rode all of them.

The only thing that people have trouble with is the thrill ride sim at innovations it uses the same shoulder harness that Universal uses. They are not made for people with broad shoulders or a lot of fluff up front.

I'm a big girl... around 400 lbs actually, and I was a CP at Disney. I rode SM before the refurb and the only issue I had was getting in and out because you're basically sitting on the floor of the vehicles. I'm not sure if the rockets were changed in the refurb, but that was my issue.

Expedition Everest also has a sample car outside the ride, but I also didn't have an issue fitting, it was snug, but I fit.

I'm a 6'2" 265lbs. man. I am proportioned very similar to a player in the NFL. Big shoulders, big arms, big stomach, thick waist. Space Mountain was snug for me but I was okay. Aerosmith was fine for me too. Didn't even feel any more snug than normal. A guy my size never has to worry about being loose in an upsidedown coaster.

One question, how big are these people you are bringing? Honestly, the reason I say this is because I am used to being bigger than 99% of the people I ever meet.

The only ride I have never fit in was Millenium at Cedar Point. They DID have a tester at the front of the line but my brother in law and I thought it was only for the "circus freak" types. We waited in line for 15 minutes and when we boarded the coaster neither of us could strap the seatbelts on. I have no idea why that ride was designed to not fit a bigger man. My brother in law is not that big.

But never a problem at Disney

The Patriots need an outside pass rusher, sounds like you could be in the running. On another note, having a ride that tight that larger people can not get into the seats is crazy. It is not like you are 450lbs that seems like a big flaw in the ride design.

We they are a size 26 or so in female sizing. So I think that is about 300lbs. At least that is what my wife says. Both my wife and I are average for our ages and heights so this has never been an issue for us to worry about.

The getting out part was what I was thinking about. Sometimes it is hard for me to get out of the cars; I have bad knees.

From everything I have read there should not be any issues at all with any of the things we want to do. It was suggested that since we are a group of 5 to ask for 3 and 2 if it is questionable.

Thanks everyone.
