Pleasure Island Question

Everyone:

Believe it or not, neither my fiancee nor I have ever gone over to Pleasure Island. As such, we don't know much about the specifics. I'm sure we can find the ticket price for to enter the island on Disney.com, but we were wondering if there are additional club entrance fees on top of the regular ticket price. More particularly, we are interested in going to the Adventurer's Club on Halloween Night.

Thanks for the info.

dave

As far as I know you only pay the 1 price and that gets you admission to all the clubs. I have only been there 1 time...we had so much fun at the Adventurer's Club that we spent the whole night there.

Pricing structure changed.

Admission fees to enter Pleasure Island changed several months ago to free. They now charge for entrance to the clubs rather than the streets. Tickets are purchased at the converted train car at the island's entrance and exchanged for a wristband at the first club you enter. Admission can be purchased for a single club only for about $11.66 or a multi-club pass for $23.38. Single club tickets do not include Adventurer's Club or Comedy Warehouse.

Usually, there is an unadvertised special of $5 more to convert a multi-club pass for five additional days entrance. Including the first night of attendance it makes for a total of six days. I believe you have to use the six admissions within a 14 day period.

There are also other variations of annual passes for Pleasure Island that are more popular with locals or people that visit a lot.

There is a lot of construction at PI as they convert the flow through from West Side, PI, and Downtown Disney into an open path.

Halloween was great last year and I'm going back this year to the AC. They usually do the special events for a few nights around the holiday and not just only Halloween night.

That being said, do you have to pay the $23.38 to get into the Adventurer's Club or do they have a door charge or something??

Thanks,

nahh...before you end the island, regardless of what sign your on, youll see a trolly like fixture which are the ticket booths. you just buy your ticket from there, and depending on what kind of ticket you get, that specific club would let you in.

pleasure island is WAY fun, especially for those of us over the age of 21. im usually a regular there on mondays and thursdays, but it will cut down to thursdays only once school starts. mannequins and 8trax are clubs of my choice if you wanna have a grand ole time!

Pleasure Island is also included if you get the water parks and more option on your MYW tickets. That's the way I usually do it. Two days at water parks and three nights at PI.

???

OK, so clarify that for me. A single club ticket won't get you into AC or CW. A multi-club pass will. Is there a single club ticket that will get you into the AC without having to purchase a multi-club pass?

No. There is no single club ticket for AC or CW. The only way to get into either AC or CW is a multi-club ticket. I would imagine that AC and CW are excluded from the single club pass because they rarely have attendance problems where as some of the other clubs can be ghost towns at times.

If you have a DDE card you cant get a multi-club PI ticket for $10 which is about the same as a single club ticket.

A DDE card is the Disney Dinning experience. It is a discount card that will give you a 20% discount on nearly every table service restaurant on property as well as a select few counter service restaurants. You also get free valet parking, free admission to Atlantic Dance hall and half price admission to PI. You must be a Florida resident or an AP holder to get the card. The price is $85 for Florida residents and $60 for AP holders per year.

As stated...

Well I called and received the definiative answer. ONLY a multi-club pass will get you into the AC or CW. That's the gottcha if you want to do more than the music clubs. Also noted, these clubs usually don't have an attendance problem. Another factor is they probably are more expensive to operate as they have equity actors to pay.

Agreed!

I've been to pleasure island every night of each vacation to WDW ever since I turned 18. I never understood what the AC was all about until I actually went ALL the way in, sat down and soaked it all in. I have to agree that it is the best venue in all of Disney, and the best nightclub on the planet. I've been SOOO worried with all of the PI construction that they would somehow alter this club. I searched the internet for PI construction updates and found this photo... www.lastdimension.com/photos/adventure1.gif proving that the club is still there and operating after the construction. Behind the rubble that used to be the west end stage, you can clearly see the top of the AC, deployed parachute hanging off the roof, and all.. a sure sign that the club is there, and STILL THE AC.

Thank goodness! :)
