Is PI open only to those who purchase the NYE party tickets or will the regular clubs be open to regulars?

Thanks!

After reading the way they word the event description on the Annual Passholder page I think you are right. Sigh.. A whole 10 dollars off the $89 admission :(

The Island is only opened to those who buy the NYE ticket. They DO NOT let anyone in under 21 either. Not even with a parent or guardian.

Personally, $79 or even $89 is a bargain to go to 7 clubs with food and champagne toast on NYE. Most of the places by me are charging $30-$100 for 1 club.

What Tampabrad is saying is true, most clubs charge more than this for a NYE party anyhow. Even Universal's NYE party is more than this. I really don't care about any big name brands. I prefer to dance to some good music rather than stand there squished around 5,000 people staring at someone perform.

The cover band "Hip Kitty" who is performing at Motion tonight is exceptional. They are regulars at the R & R Beach Club, and they always change up their playlist and learn all the new songs currently played on the radio. Their original songs are really good as well. :sohappy:

Never saw Kabang, but I did see Mulch, Sweat, and Tears at MGM last year and they were pretty good!

The Hip Kitty Band draws pretty large crowds as opposed to some of the others I have seen at R & R Beach Club!

Somewhat of a disapointment last night. They pushed the food as a big selling point but at 11:15, there wasn't a scrap to be had. Drink prices were crazy, worse than normal from what I remember ($6 for a bottle of beer) and it took us an hour to get out of the parking lot. At least they could have had better traffic control. The police were there just not doing a very good job. That being said, the fireworks were fantastic and you could get as much champange as you wanted. All in all, an OK night. Just not the best.

Oh yeah, Hip Kitty sucks.

Being from Miami, $6 beers are nothing new to me.. The traffic jam to get out of there was pretty crazy. I could not believe how many people were in PI last night.. At 80-90 a pop + the HUGE lines for alcohol, Disney made out like bandits!

I was so mad on New Years Eve that I could not go to the Adv. Club that night. Because I was not 21 yet. But I was able to see Mulch Sweet and Sheers at MGM that night with Paul(the orginal Moris).

hahahaha Kabang and frankie and the west end boys...

i worked at PI and had to listen to both of those bands like 3 times a night, terrible. I used to see frankie backstage and the guy thought he was a rockstar i guess he forgot he was in a crappy cover band playing at pleasure Island.
