Please tell me this guy was kicked out...

We were there one time waiting for dinner at Tony's during MNSSHP and a guy dressed as captain Jack walked in. My son thought he was the real deal and he just said hi in a captain jack voice and told him he looked like a good pirate and asked if he wanted to join his crew. My boy was pumped. Then the same night I saw two girls dressed as Minnie and Pooh taking what looked like the early photos of a shoot in the christmas store. hiking up their already hiked up skirts and pushing down in the front. How they made it in the door is beyond me. We saw them before dinner outside Tony's and then 90 minutes later at the Christmas store. The ladies in the shop were obviously unsure what to do or where to look. as were the husbands. hahaha

Speaking of Capt Jack, I was at a Halloween retail & Haunted attraction trade show in Chicago about 10 years ago and the costume companies always held a fashion show for buyers. There was an attendee who was cosplaying Capt Jack - and he was good. So good in fact, that the vendors had security ask him to leave because he was upstaging their pirate costumes (pirates where huge that year).

A friend of ours was there recently and there was a guest who looked JUST LIKE Elsa and her little one thought it was her and there were several little girls taking pics with her.
But it's actually those several little girls' parents who are the smartest ones.

"No honey, that's not the real Els...(looks at wait time for the real M&G).... yes, that IS Elsa. Let's get your picture taken, then we can scurry along to Splash Mtn."

I would have loved to know if he was escorted out... And then some.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't during MNSSHP... I've never been, but at that event are there guests in convincing enough costumes where management asks them to leave or not pose as a character? Wondering how they handle that.

I've been to MNSSHP and I'm fairly sure that was not one in the video. For one the CM's would have been dressed different that confronted him (halloween garb). Even if it was a Halloween Party he still isn't allowed to sign autographs and say he is the be all end all Peter Pan of the Park, etc.

Now as for your friend that dressed as Elsa, it's ok as long as she isn't acting like the real characters do in the parks and signing autographs etc. There are many people we have seen that are dead on for characters at these MNSSHP's but they aren't signing stuff etc, they're acting appropriately.

Wasn't my friend who dressed up - she was telling us about another guest that was there - and I'm not sure if she "was acting" like Elsa but there were several girls in line to see her (and she had Anna with her). She knew it wasn't a m&g because there were no "handlers" or photopass with them.

That would be a sad day, if guests were no longer allowed to dress up for MNSSHP! Such a ban would take all the fun out of the event. I was dressed as Peter Pan when I attended MNSSHP in 2008, but NEVER claimed to be the park character! It was just my costume. What this guy did was in very poor taste. :(
I'm imagining the real Peter Pan who can sometimes be found at the Magic Kingdom telling that guy that "There can only be one!" when he encounters this guy.

He should be banned for life.

My only surprise is Disney Cast Members weren't on it more quickly, but the video could have been edited...it was very short.

I'm sure he was caught and escorted out. I would have immediately reported him and made sure they got to him.
I'm surprised they didn't kick him out knowing only the real characters can sign autograph not importers. I fell sorry for the girl knowing that she meet the fake Peter Pan and will finally realize this when she get's older.

Remember that one time that girl dressed up as Tink and her boyfriend was Peter Pan....Yeeahhhhh....

I remember seeing that thumbnail for a split second when I searched up videos of Tinkerbell meeting guests and for a split second thought that was the actual Tinkerbell. I later realized it wasn't since it said "Tinkerbell in tears after Disney World spat".

Yeah, similar thing happens to me all the time. Half the time they think I'm Hercules, the other half they think I'm Thor. It's a curse, truly.

But with this guy, to make it moderately amusing, he should be about 6'4", grossly overweight, smoking a cigarette, and burping.

I would have told security that a guy dressed as Peter Pan was going up to little kids and trying to talk to them. Let them sort it out.
