Tusker House breakfast is something we do each trip. Get your picture taken with Safari Donald prior to the meal (no autograph with him anymore unfortunately.) While you eat Daisy, Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy will stop by each table and you can take pictures, get autographs, and chum it up with them. It is very good interaction like the other character meals. There is a great variety of fruit, pastry, breakfast meats, Mickey Waffles, eggs, and your usual breakfast assortment. The fruit is always very fresh and gets high marks from my wife and daughter, as does the juiceWe have never had a bad experience. My son isn't a very adventurous eater so we go for breakfast where it is American cuisine only. There is a parade where the kids play musical instruments and go around the restaraunt with the characters. We usually hit rope drop and get in a ride on Kilimanjaro Safari and snag some EE fastpasses first thing and then enjoy our reservation around 10:30.

I have a reservation now for 1010. I hope that will allow us to get a FP for the safari, but not interfere timewise. That is what I worry about, since you cannot cancel the reservation in that timeframe.

We did not have a good experience there, but I've come to think we went on an off day. We had an 8:10a...food was picked over/dry/never refreshed...service poor...character interaction not good. Still, it seems so far off from everyone else's experiences that even I'd be willing to try another visit at some point just to give it another chance, but we may try lunch next time just to try some different food.

I also think this is plenty of time to get a FP, ride the safari once, and maybe peruse a few shops in the area before your ADR...of course, it also depends on when you're going. Still, if you're there right at opening and head right to the safari, I think you should be just fine.

The character breakfast at Tusker House is awesome!
It is called Donald's Safari Breakfast.
I believe the characters are Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Goofy, & Pluto.
The food is great!
We are only planning to do one breakfast on our next trip & my kids picked this one.
There are no characters here for lunch or dinner, only breakfast.
I would definitely recommend the character breakfast!

is there breakfast still good at that 1030 timeframe? Breakfast may be good for us as well since my dad is a picky eater.

We always do late breakfast. Be at the park at opening so that you can walk on most every ride then when the sleep in people start to fill the park around 10:00 you do the late breakfast. After your done eating you are ready to attack the park again while others are eating lunch or back at the resort for mid day break.

We've done breakfast every trip. We usually do a 9:30 breakfast on an EMH morning. We've found the food to be good and plentiful. This last trip it was incredibly busy, so service, while still good, was not as we had experienced before. However, I have to say we were going in early December instead of late January. We like the food, the characters, and the service has generally been good. It's a must do breakfast for us. :)

Yes. Its a great time because at 11 they start lunch, so you get to eat both. We did our ADR at Tusker house aroud the same time back in February.
