My english final is due online tomorrow (monday) at noon... The question was posted on Wednesday and it took me a few days just to understand the question. A few days before the question was posted, a group of articles were posted in which you were supposed to pull all of your information for the essay. Well, I've read each of the 7 articles about 20 times and have yet to find any relavance they might have in writting this paper. Not that, but it's on something I have no interest in WHATSOEVER (postwar iraq)... As of right now (1 am, sunday night), I have 1 paragraph... I'm almost in tears :brick:

Others may disagree, but here's my opinion on the situation:

It's just an english paper. If you fail it, it's ok. If it makes you fail the class, it's ok. It's just a lousy grade. In the end it's equal to the importance of whether or not you like to store the toilet seat in the up or down position.

Don't let it stress you out, it'll only take a few more hours off of your life. Don't believe it? Stress has been medically proven to be extremely harmful to the body. Bottom line:

Just do your best. If it doesn't work out, you'll know you've done your best, and THAT is all that matters.

Oh boy! You shpuld have told us this before! We could have read those articles and come up with a nice paper! Next time....

In the meantime, stop browsing wdwmagic and focus in what YOU think of Irak´s postwar according to what you have read in those articles, the news, even here, etc. I´m sure you will be able to write more than one paragraph if you concentrate on it. Do not log into wdwmagic until that paper is done! (I know it´s hard, but hey, it helps me when I need to finish something) :animwink:

Well if it makes you feel any better, I one time sat down to a four question Physics exam. I didn't have any idea how to do the first one, so I skipped to #2. I didn't have any idea how to do #2 (no smarta$$ comments please) so I skipped to 3 then 4 with no clue on any of them.

I had an hour and a half and no idea where to start, so I just started scribbling out equations that I knew weren't right, but I thought they might have some vague relevance.

I got a 25 out of 100 which was good enough for a 'B' based on how well everyone else did.

Will do!... I had to type it like I usually type papers for her and then go through, and single space, replace all quotation marks with asterisks, and save as a txt doc, and copy/paste onto a website... talk about a pain in the !

You should have done what I do, when I have a big essay to do I think about it, go down the pub, come back and think about it, go back down the pub (repeat until night before deadline) and then PANIC!!!!!! and get it done in one night by using loads of caffeine, lol

Ok... grades were supposed to be in on Monday and I just got my grade at 8:00 tonight. Well, after all of the worrying, I ended up getting a A!! :sohappy: Thanks for all the support, guys! :wave:

Whenever I told everyone what I ended up with, they told me I was overreacting, but I really didn't know what my standing was in the class until now! She gave back 1 of our papers before the last week of class and during exam week we got back another. We did 5 papers! How did she expect us to grow from paper to paper?! Oh well... I now have tons of stress lifted off of my shoulders! I'm now in summer mode!! :sohappy:
