Hello. Please post here if there is a soft opening or preview day of F&GF so I can know to go to Epcot or not. Tomorrow is my last day of vacation and we were hoping for a soft opening. Thanks!

I know from previous years, the topiaries go up in stages leading up to the official opening. If you went over there today, you'd definitely get to see some (if not most) of them already in place. Specific attractions like the Butterfly Garden and such will likely not be open yet but if the idea is just to see the park decorated, much of it should already be in place.

Well technically everything is already out there, correct? So official opening or not you are still seeing everything the way it will be besides the kiosks and Festival Center.

Yes, but they had a preview of Food and Wine last fall the night before the festival opened. The kiosks were open. Who knows if that is the plan today, though.

Most topiary are up and can be seen. Some ares still being worked on. Playgrounds are not open, neither are the Outdoor Kitchens around World Showcase.

Food and Wine always has a preview the day before, which is technically a cast celebration event.
