My family is going to WDW the weekend of Feb. 17th thru Feb. 19th. I know it's close to valentines day but for some reasson it appears to be really booked. It's a break week from one Florida resident room rate to another but I'm not sure what else it could be. Does anyone know if there is something special going on?? Cheer competition or anything? Thanks if you have any info...

Actually I don't think it's because of Presidents Day Weekend. I know I live in Florida but it's been a while since I was in school and I don't think the kids have presidents day off. Correct me if I'm wrong. I could be.... I probably am....... :)

Even if they don't have it off in Florida, many schools all over the country do. I know that here in RI, that's our winter break, and many people I know are heading down there then (including us!)

That's what I figured. Going to Disney for me has always been a quick trip concept. I've lived in Florida since I was 3 so I forget. Actually looking forward to a sooner trip because in 13 days my wife and I are going down for a few days and finally getting our passes back. WOO HOO!!!

I know that President's Day weekend is why we are going down. Well, not completely, but that's why my teenage kids are going along with us.
