MVMCP...Please help us decide

My husband and I will be down for the first 2 days that Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party is on which is November 13th and 17th and we have never been to this before and don't know if we should attend this time either. We would appreciate any opinions on whether or not this is a must see event. We just don't know what we should do attend it or skip it . Or is it already too late to get tickets for it and we are worrying for nothing...Thank you so much for your help.

P.S. We are from Canada...so seeing the snow is not really that big of a deal for us. Thank you

I am wondering the same thing. We will be there that week also, and we have never done the MVMCP, but thought about buying tickets. I've heard nothing but good things about how fun and nice it is...so I would try it since its your first time. Thats what we will probably do. Maybe we'll see ya there!!!

I've been the past two years and enjoyed it a lot both years.

In 2004 we had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, watched the parade and wishes. A good part of the night was spent wading through the crowds.

Last year when we went we spent time during the parade in Tomorrowland and walked right on all the rides, even did Space Mountain 3 times in a row, made it over to Toontown judges tent and walked right in to see Mickey.
Instead of watching Wishes we did Frontierland and rode BTMRR 2 times without a wait, rode Splash Mtn and it was very cold that night brrrrrrr, then went on HM twice too., went from there around to Pirates. Was a great night to catch the rides, all of them mostly empty

Either way I think it's a great time to be in the MK. Going back again this year on Thur 11/30,,,,, yipppeeee!!

Hey There,

My family will be there from the 11th to 20th of November, and I just got out tickets to the 13th MVMCP yesterday!

I spoke to a couple people that have been to the MVMCP and they all loved it!

We have been to MVMCP 2x and had a great time both times. Disney does xmas so well with all of the decor and music. They even have snow on Main Street during the MVMCP. Holiday Wishes and the MVMC Parade are both fantastic and not to be missed shows. Plus you get to ride your favorite rides at night and see the park all light up. I would definitely advise going at least once just to see the fireworks and parade. :wave:

After my family went in December a couple years ago, we will never go any other time of the year. The weather was perfect, ride queues were super short, and the decorations are beautiful. When I was younger, every Christmas Day I would watch the Disney Christmas parade, and it was really great to see it in person.

My wife and I went once several years ago and will go again this year (11/27) with our 16-year-old niece, who has never been to WDW. MVMCP is great fun and definitely worth the time and money. I would highly recommend it.

go. definately. but choose the one on a weekday not a weekend. MUCH less crowded.
