I'm sorry y'all. I'm sure this is posted somewhere, but I came into the "guess what? Fantasyland is getting an overhaul!" discussion about 4 months into it.

I've looked and read (pages and pages of posts) and used the search function, but can't find the answer to this question.

If Cinderella is getting a new "area" what will become of the restaurant (Cinderella's Royal Table) inside of the Castle. Will you still be able to dine there after they are finished with the expansion? What about the BBB?

Thanks!

There hasnt been any direct info on this, but I would think it's probably safe to assume the Royal Table will remain.

Cinderella Castle isn't getting a new area. The castle wall, whick you may be referring to,will separate the medevil fair from the forest chateau area. The Royal Table and BBB should not be effected.

I think the OP is wondering about the fact that since you will be able to meet Cinderella in her cottage to "enjoy a dance", will that affect meeting Cinderella on your way into the Cinderella's Royal Table.

It might be a valid concern, as you could spend time with Cinderella in her cottage (and presumably in her more pedestrian attire) and then walk immediately over to the castle to have lunch and see her greeting guests in her blue gown.

Personally, I would be shocked if the meal changed in the castle, but could see them changing the theme and not having a M&G with Cinderella on the way in to avoid that awkward situation. Maybe it will mark the return of King Stefan's...which still made no sense having Aurora's father's restaurant in Cinderella's Castle, but at least solves this potential problem...

Yes, that was my thought exactly.

I'm assuming there will only one place to meet Cinderella, but then, as I type this I remember that you can meet Cinderella on the way into your lunch at CRT, but could then go over to the Princess meet & greet and see her there as well (but why would you, when you've just seen all the Princesses at your lunch?)

Okay - I think my question is answered though - no info on whether or not any changes will be made to CRT once the Fantasyland expansion is complete. Thank you!!!

I just needed to know how to advise my friends & family who are headed to WDW in the next year or two. Dining with the Princesses in the Castle is a very special experience and I'd hate for someone to miss out!

No problem!

I realized after you answered that I hadn't been quite clear enough. It made sense in my mind  but obviously wasn't communicating my point.

Kinda reminds me of this Dec being at the MVMCP and having two close calls with character duplication.

First we left meeting Belle and Beast at a photo op in the stroller area near IASW only to walk over to Belle's Story Time and she had changed from a festive red dress to the usual blue and passed us along the way...

Then we left the dance party in Cosmic Ray's with Goofy dancing on the stage with the DJ, and walked across the bridge to the hub and caught the middle of the stage show in which Goofy now wasn't dressed as Santa from the party but in a victorian suit...

Fortunately, neither of my kids seemed to notice Goofy;s change, and we explained that Belle was allowed to use the tunnels under the MK to get from place to place and to change...

But two Cinderella's within a 30 second walk might be a tough sell...at least at Toontown you'd have had a longer walk and a line to wait in...if the plans are right you might even be able to see Cinderella's cottage from the window of Cinderella castle...that would be weird...
