What win streak? They handily won their division, so no win streak put them over the top in September. And it doesn't matter if they are 4th best, you just gotta win your playoff series in October. When they won the Series in 1987, they only won 85 the whole year. Sometimes teams just get hot at the right time.

As for Bonds, you gotta admit he's the best player in the game right now. Barry is no a-hole when he's between the white lines; when the game's over, well, that's a totally different story......but no doubt, he rules the game right now. Enjoy watching him as a ball player cuz he is as good as it gets.

very true. I think the reason they get hot is because they change their whole style of play for the postseason. I loved seein that smile on barry's face when they won the divison. it almost cracked me up.:lol:
