I noticed the four new pics of Pooh's Play Area on the main site, and it looks like it is going to be a bigger deal than what I imagined. I really thought this would be some cardboard just thrown up and painted, but it looks like they are building new structures over there!

No clue----but rumor (oh that reliable rumor) has it that the room the pooh characters vacate will have Pixar characters moving in. Anyone know anything more?

Was just at the parks yesterday and they've already started contructing a large tree which appears to be Pooh's home. Curently it looks like a mini-version of the Tree of Life over at Animal Kingdom.

i guess i'd rather have a good pooh play ground than a makeshift meet-n-greetbut i was looking at google earth and theres a lot of room there, and they could do a lot mor ethen just a stupid playground (no offense to anyone intended)

Wow, sounds big.

I'm actually kind of excited about this thing getting finished. What they have currently set up (the benches and islands of plants) isn't much of a "wood." Hopefully it will get more scenic behind the construction fences.

The tree appeared to be about 15 feet tall, but I imagine it should end up a lot larger than that once they're finished.

No, but that is rumored for rehab as well. I am talking about the Pals area in Toontown by Minnies house where you can meet some princesses, some pals and some of the pooh gang. when the pooh group moves out, it is rumored that Pixar characters are moving in.....

Does any one have any photos of the photos that were posted on main street? Or a site were I can see what there up to??

Don't worry, there is plenty of room back there, the playground won't even dent the possibilities that WDI will have in using this space.

I'm looking forward to the completion of this playground, not because I want to go play, but because of the number of children this playground can trap. This is one large distraction that will hopefully keep some of the usual bottlenecks from forming in the Fantasyland area. Only good can come of this.

It's also a nice place to wait for your group if you chicken out on Pooh :lookaroun

Well, i'm friends with Mrs. Incredible, and last I heard she said that there is the chance of Pooh's Pals leaving that playroom and the Incredibles will go in there. Not 100% sure yet, but last I checked it was supposed to be happening sometime soon...

Since April 2004, I think. I believe it was rumored to open back up last November. It sure has taken a while to build a playground... :rolleyes: They have spent more time on this than Stitchs Great Escape.

Yeah, but they had to get the rest of 20k demolished. So they may not have been building for as long as we think. It is still taking a while to bulid a palygound/meet & greet, considering how fast meet & greets pop-up now-a-days.
