I worked there today. I can't really tell you much about the food, but it's VERY loud, with MCs (two equity performers- female and male- that sing songs from the various shows), and the music gets stuck in your head really easily. Also, because the restaurant is so small, don't be surprised if you see a character multiple times in one hour.
Also, you have to watch out for Goliath- because it's a small restaurant, and the seating is limited, it's easy for him to accidently hit chairs or people with his tail. If your children watch any of the shows "religiously", this may be a good opportunity for them, because the characters WANT the kids to dance with them. All the cast members in the restaurant get into it- they all dance around and participate.
All in all, from a CM point of view, it's fun, but noisy. I haven't tried the food yet, as I said, but after working there, I don't particularly care for that kind of character dining experience. Give me Liberty Tree Tavern or the Garden Grill any time.
**EDIT** to be more specific, I'm not a huge fan of buffets in general, because I rarely eat as much as I paid for.
