Platinum Edition list?

If you're talking about the previously released 2 Disc Special Edition of Sleeping Beauty, I don't think so. The Sleeping Beauty DVD does not have the Platinum label on it and the Platinum Releases are only twice a year. Besides, Sleeping Beauty was an initial box office failure which I think automatically takes it off the Platinum Collection list.

well that's cute, Sleeping Beauty deserves to be part of the collection, it has a unique look to it and it is also Walt's last and favorite Fairy Tale. It is also the only Disney movie to already have a pre made score.

I hope they also add Pinnochio (very, very memorable also the most technically perfect), Peter Pan (a classic), Mulan (the last musical, great heroine), and Lilo and Stitch (very unique and different from the usual Disney flicks)

Apparently, There has already been a bunch of official additions to the Platinum Collection

Sleeping Beauty - Disney's most expensive movie and his last and favorite fairy tale, not to mention having a unique look and feel to it given by the "moving tapestry" look Disney commissioned for it.

Peter Pan - A timeless classic that has provided some of Disney's most memorable characters.

Pinnochio - Dubbed as the most technically perfect animated film of all time, Pinnochio is a classic that has endured the test of time.

Fantasia - Fantasia pushed the boundaries of animation and is one of Walt's best.

I did some research, I now think "Pocahontas" deserves to be in the Platinum Collection, it is a very well made masterpiece that could be seen as the Sleeping Beauty of the Renaissance. I also still think "Mulan" and "Lilo and Stitch" deserve Platinum treatments.
