Plans Have Changed

We still have a trip planned for the week after thanksgiving in 2016. But now that we found out that Osbourne Light Shiw is done after this year we want to do a quick 3-4 day trip in early December to see this for the last time. It's not official yet, but I'm sure booking this last minute might be hard. Looking at maybe doing the swan or dolphin, POR or Coronado Springs. We will see

DVC Rental Store & David's Vacation Club Rentals have a lot of last minute specials.
It seems like every other day I get an email from one of them.
We rented points last Thanksgiving and it worked great.

Good luck in making the arrangements, hope you get something. I'm so bummed that they are going, but fortunate that I'll get to see them one last time. I'm sure my camera is going to be working in overdrive to get the last time shots to remember them by.

My parents now are looking at moving that timeshare time for early December 2016 for December 2015. Should hear back sometime this or next week.

Shouldn't be an issue with the Swan and Dolphin. I am seeing rates around 175 to 230 a night which is reasonable in my mind.

DW has a new camera annnd shes a member of a photo group on flicker where she does a bi-weekly assignment trying new things out and learning new techniques and cant wait to try all these different things out on Disney. Me... I just point, click and hope something comes out clear. So needless to say her photos are going to be all keepers and mine....

I bought a new camera too ... small camera with a bigger zoom than the one I had (forget what kind though)...LOL. just didn't want to carry the bigger camera. This case has a belt loop, so I can be pretty much hands free!! Bought a 32GB SD card ... might by a second one and possibly videotape most of the drive down from Connecticut too.

Shes taking her GoPro too so there will be video form her w/c and shes got an attachment that can go on her service dogs vest to get vids from the dogs perspective. Shes into all the tech stuff.... DS works for Best Buy.... So we drop a lot of money their way.

So my parents booked their timeshare last minute for 11/29-12/6. So it looks like we are a go, just finalizing the details now.

Congratulations. There are several wonderful timeshare resorts near Disney. We have stayed at many of them and most we have been to are wonderful. Have a great trip.

They really like orange lakes but bring it was last minute they gave us Vistana, which is still nice. Just might have to golf off site now

We have been to both Vistanas, and both are nice. The one closest to Disney is just across I-4 from the Hotel Blvd. entrance to the DTD area. The one on International Drive, Vistana Village, we like a little better, but you can't go wrong with either one.

The timeshares just seem smaller at Vistana. Might be a tight fit for 6 of us possibly 8.

Have you thought about getting APs? going in early December this year, then late November in 2016 you could maybe save some money. The room discounts for APs are good when they are available, you have the option to get the Tables in Wonderland card for meal discounts. Not sure if this will work for you, but run the numbers and see.

I thought about AP bc the price difference is worth it. But not sure my wife wants to commit to for sure going again in the next year. We are debating joining the DVC in 2016
