Planning dining reservations around the Holiday shows/events/parades--any suggestions?

We're going to WDW from Nov 27-Dec 1 for the first time. I was planning to do table service/character dining the first 4 nights. There's also a lot of Holiday-related activities going on. Where can I find information about dates and times when these take place? I don't want to miss something unique because we happen to be eating indoors. Thank you!

Make sure to look into doing some Candlelight Dining Packages for Epcot, that way you can get reserved seats for Candlelight which is worth it, besides being forced into a 3 course meal at Epcot is not exactly difficult to bear.

DIsneys official site lists their schedules and when tickets for events are available. You can also visit all the other DIsney online fan sites and they will give you the holiday info. as Disney releases them. As you get closer to the holiday months more will be revealed. You can find past dates when things occurred and get an idea of this year. If you want event tickets jump on ordering them quickly... they get scooped up quickly.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will require additional tickets, and normal ticket holders will need to leave the park at 6 pm. So you would need to plan meals around it.
Here are the dates of the party, but it looks like your trip doesn't line up with any of party dates.
  • November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24
  • December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22

True. My trip falls under the Epcot Festival of Holidays. My kids will really like this.

The Festival of the Holidays is great fun. A word of warning though, the show times are such it’s actually pretty tough to see them all in one day.

It is possible, I made a touring plan over on the TP site that managed to get them all in, and ending with dinner at Le Cellier before Epcot Forever, without back tracking. It didn’t include the Candlelight Processional.

That said, I didn’t actually follow the plan, it was done for fun last year. So I suggest either selecting a few to focus on seeing, or plan 2 days at Epcot, or 2 half days if you have park hoppers. I loved La Befana in Italy and also Norway’s and the Lion Dancers in China.
