Planning 18 months in advance...

I can't be the only one! My next trip is going to be in December 2014. I thought it was going to be in November, but looking at my school's breaks made me change my mind. I've been a little sad about the time between now and then, but last night I decided, "Hey! There's no reason I can't plan now, even if I can't ACTUALLY make reservations!" So here we go! 18 months out and I'm making decisions on which park to visit (with the help of Touring Plans) and where to eat.

What's the farthest out you've started your planning?

The 2014 packages will be out on July 10th for those of you that have been virtually planning while you wait. LOL

This includes Walt Disney world, Disneyland and Aulani.

I apologize if this is a good strategy for you, as our family cannot handle spending a day in more than one park.

Everyone enjoys doing things differently! ;) We've always visited with park hoppers! :D We like to take a break in the afternoon and go somewhere else after that for dinner.

We also take an afternoon break but we don't do hoppers and always go back to the same park or go to DTD. The only parks we do not take breaks are DHS and AK. The latter because of its early close up time and the former because it's our least favorite park and if we leave it we won't come back and I LOVE Fantasmic. So we stick around, watch some shows to kill time till Fantasmic starts.
