We have 2 Planet Hollywood vouchers so thinking of eating there in a couple weeks on our trip. I can't get an ADR now it seems. Any idea if there will be a long walk up wait on a Tuesday evening?

It'll probably be a couple of hours. Especially if you're going to be there in a couple weeks, a very busy time.

We tried to eat there one night on our last trip in January(very slow time for the parks) but it was a disaster. We arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday and they had a line out the door, all the way down the stairs and wrapping around the sidewalk. I could not believe it. When I finally got to the hostess booth we were told there were 2 huge groups ahead of us but our wait would only be about 30 minutes. Ok, no problem. Well after about 50 minutes and being told that we would be called soon several times, we left and walked into T-Rex and had a perfectly nice meal there. I would recommend trying to call ahead or going at an off time like 3-4pm if you can. We didn't get a pager, just a piece of paper with a number on it and we were told to stay in the bar area so we could hear when they called.

We have not been there in a while, but I remember their system as being pretty sad. We were waiting in the lobby area, but the music is so loud, we could hear nothing, so DH positioned himself near the hostess so we didn't miss our table when it was ready. The food was okay, but not really worth the hoopla IMHO.

I think there are better places to eat at Disney World, I only remember liking the captain crunch chicken strips. Maybe you could eat at the bar without waiting?

I went there twice. It wasn't very good either time.

There usually isn't a wait here. It isn't a popular place. But at Christmas, I guess there could be a long wait. So many people, most of whom aren't big WDW fans...

I wish you luck! You might consider getting a table at T-Rex or somewhere else if PH is booked. Earl of Sandwich is pretty good, but crowded all the time, especially when it is busy.

I will chime in to say that i would also recommend going earlier or much later for Dinner. 3/4 ish or if you can work it, a late Dinner after 9pm. This might make the wait for a table shorter.

I dined there once with friends, and waited about 30 minutes. No pagers, you just have to hang around outside at the bottom of the entrance stairs and pay attention to the names being called.

I had heard mixed reviews before trying it out, but ended up liking it. I had also gone in with a voucher discount..and my friends as well. We all enjoyed it, but be forewarned it is a very LOUD atmosphere. Do not expect to have in-depth conversations!

The food was good to me...and my friends seemed to like their dishes as well. Yes, you pay a bit per plate...but you are paying mostly for the 'hip' atmosphere.

All in all, i found it worth doing once. I enjoyed it, but i am in no real hurry to return.
There are far too many other places to still try!

Maybe we will try a late meal and
see if it's better. We have to pay cash that night and having $30 voucher is tempting.
Had Earl of Sandwich in Vegas and wasn't impressed.

Over fall break this October, we went to Planet Hollywood because our timeshare resort gave us some as well. We took our picture, got our pager, walked around the small gift shop inside, and tried to find our way to our table (the employees said to take the stairs to the second floor twice after we said we'd never been there before), our waiter that looked like an actor off of the new Hawaii 5-0 got our drink orders, and after my dad saw that steak on the menu in the dim lighting was $30...we said adios. The loud atmosphere just wasn't our family I guess. Somehow we made our way to Beaches and Cream from a slow bus to the Beach Club. It was $60 for a one-Disney-dollar-sign table service restaurant...but it was great! We had wonderful classic Disney service and the food was good though it wasn't anything fancy. We enjoyed it and I totally recommend the kitchen sink ;)

Oh trust me the kitchen sink is on our plans!!

Ok problem solved. Switched our DTD night to our arrival night and found 7:30 ADRs for next Saturday night! Yeah! Will do boardwalk/kitchen sink/mini golf on Tuesday now. Find it funny easier to get an ADR in prime Saturday night instead of anytime on a Tuesday.
