a) eat at the airport - you will probably have a lot of time to kill
b) bring something on the flight with you (bagels etc) always permitted

Make some sandwiches or anything else to eat during the flight... and you'll live through it... :)

I always pack snacks for my kids when we fly. Cheese/Peanut butter crackers are always a hit as well as those little cheese/bread stick packets. You could even throw in some apples or bananas for a more healthy snack.

Just some suggestions. Enjoy your trip!

I usually just make a little sandwich for the plane ride. That combined with the pretzels usually holds me over very well for our almost 3 hour flight. If you want more, you can always pack more, or buy something in the terminal and take on with you. There is nothing wrong with doing that.

Eat a small, quick snack before leaving home for the airport. When you've booked in, eat a proper breakfast while you're waiting around at the airport

Why pay outrageous prices at the airport for food? Believe me, you'll get enough high-priced food at WDW.

Take something from home. I'm a huge fan of Wheat Thins or Cheez-Its. To make it much easier, open the bags, put the crackers in zipper bags, then put the bags back into the box. They won't crush, and you won't have crackers spilling into your carry-on.

If you are all really hungry in the morning, then pack a major sandwich--ham and cheese, turkey, etc. Believe me, the other people on the plane will be jealous.
