You're welcome! I was the biggest Muppet fan as a kid, still now. I remember how much joy I got from watching anything Muppets over and over and snuggling with my Fozzie and gang stuffed animals. It makes me happy to hear that kids are still into them.
Has he seen the Muppets at Walt Disney World special yet?
I just found out about that the other day, I will look for it too. I knew nothing about the Muppets but have learned so much. He has a Muppet character encyclopedia that he has worn out. He especially loves the jug band music, and plays along with Lubbock Lou while watching the show. The Muppets really have mesmerized him! He is excited about Disney, but I was surprised there aren't Muppet meet and greets, character experiences, etc. I guess they aren't as popular as they once were.

He should also check out Fraggle Rock, if he hasn't already.
And it's the wrong season for it, but definitely check out "A Muppet Family Christmas"; it's only on YouTube but it's worth seeking out. The Muppets, the Sesame Street characters, and the Fraggles all have Christmas together and sing songs from Emmet Otter and The Christmas Toy. And Jim Henson makes a cameo. It's the most Muppety thing ever :)
We have watched Muppet Family Christmas a million times!

Disney didn't do anything much with the Muppets after they bought them, for some reason. The newer movie ("The Muppets") was a huge hit, but the follow-up and the TV show weren't as popular. They've been experimenting with ways to put the Muppets in the parks with Bunsen Honeydew driving around and the new Muppet History show in the Magic Kingdom -- that gets huge crowds. I think it's surprisingly hard to nail that specific tone of sweet, funny, and crazy that the classic Muppets have. MuppetVision and the Muppet American History shows do it well.

I'm not sure what you were expecting, but for me the food was in no way horrible when I ate there last week. The pizza could have used more toppings, but the pizza crust was hot and fresh, and the salad was fresh and tasty. Overall I thought it was a fine choice for a fast lunch in a park that could use more choices for lunch.

My comments on the pizza is I feel that they could have done so much more then the typical Disney Pizza in what is suppose to be a mimic of a NY Pizza place... The pizza does not live up to that at all. That is why I am so harsh on the product. Food is as important to a story and theming as the ambiance of the place.... Here the food does not hit the note

I don't disagree with this. But this is a far cry from "food is horrible". It ain't.

You have a very different palette then I do. This my industry and this product is a pre done Frozen shell from a company outside Chicago. It is nothing to write home about.

Hence why it is a fast food place. If you want real pizza, you have to go to Via Napoli. :)

I don't disagree with you but even with that being said they could have done a good NY style pizza and sold slices and really made it perfect... the same company they buy the shell from has one that would work for this but they stopped short on this one...

It bothers me....

And again, I agree with you. But "nothing to write home about" and "food was horrible" are pretty different sentiments.

We actually thought it was a pretty good meal for lunch- my pizza was hot and had a nice small side salad..my husband enjoyed his meatball sub sandwich which also had a salad --certainly not a "great" meal and certainly not NY pizza, but perfectly fine for us.
