If Coco was added to the current attraction in a kind of nod type way as opposed to the makeover plan I wouldn’t be totally surprised.

The white Epcot model that lacks detail had the Mexico pavilion with a huge guitar leaning against the pyramid. Just curious as to what that meant. I assume it has something to do with Coco.

They also have posters from past attractions. ( Maelstrom and Horizons)

Maybe it’s an addition around the Mexico pavilion itself.. ;-)

We don’t know what’s staying or going yet. Remember Coco already has a prominent presence at the pavilion. Disney wants to utilize their newer IPs. Could be taking over the boat ride, could not be. We will see.

The thing is, the only things featured on that model are things that are changing.

If the guitar was referencing the small presence that Coco already has, they wouldn’t have featured it in the model

If Brazil happens, I would hope that they’d get moved to that pavilion.

I recently watched @marni1971 ’s tribute to Mexico, and the addition of the animatronics really enhanced the ride.
