I know this land has been rumored but has it been officialy announced? Plus how will they be able to turn it in to a Pixar area when the only ride will be Toy Story Mania? What else will be there besides TSM? Plus when will it be finnished? Just some questions that crossed my mind.

Supposedly Mickey Ave. will be turning into Pixar Place. Mickey Ave. just went down [edit] today [edit], and the whole area will be open again with the opening of Toy Story Mania. Right now, the most exact date is sometime in April of 2008.

Not sure of anything else Pixar coming to that place. Block Party Bash is set to replace the Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade in March of 2008 maybe. That is all Pixar characters, but not in that exact area...

Oh one more thing I forgot to ask. When the whole Pixarland is complete will they still have the Al's Toy Barn Meet-Greet area or just move the meet-greet to pixarland?

The only issue that I have with the "Pixarland" idea is the fact that there are so many pre existing Pixar attractions in other parks: The Seas with Nemo, MILF, Buzz Lightyear, Finding Nemo the Musical, and I'm probably forgetting a few more. It seems like the presence of those attractions at other parks sort of dilutes the flavor of Pixarland in MGM.

I agree, it doesnt really make much sense come to think of it, but if they want to milk it for all its worth they're gonna do it.
