I wonder why they need to offer this post after loads of attractions have already been built or are in the process of being built in the parks. Surely they can not be adding much more Pixar to the parks.

Why would you say this ? Pixar may have films yet to come out that would make great theme park attractions.

Anyway Pixar is Disney.

I think it's going to be a HUGE breath of fresh air with Jobs taking over at Disney...They are a very successful company...and I'm sure they are going to find out what the "guests" want in a theme park..(how about more attractions less meet & greets)...I think in 5 years we are going to go WOW ...

Exactly!

Besides, Pixar has alot to be proud over with the success of their films. Why not ensure great success in the attractions that are Pixar based by adding talented personnel? Disney does the same thing.

No, wait... they are the same company!!!

Did Jobs really take over anything?

The Pixar producer would be responsible for making sure this happens as fluidly as possible. There had to be someone in this same position when Tough to be a Bug was created. And when walk around characters were created. And Turtle Talk. And the new Nemo attractions. And.....

I could be way off but I thought Pixar didnt have much say at all as to attractions using their characters, same for things like sequels. Could be wrong though.

Also, as a side note, Its Tough To Be A Bug wasnt actually produced by Pixar but by another company as Pixar were to busy with A Bug's Life and other animated movies.

You're not off at all. None of the current attractions based on the Pixar films had any input other than that from WDI.

Under the two deals negotiated between Disney and Pixar, Disney retained 100% of the right to use any concepts from the movies in the parks. They asked nor consulted with anyone.
