EDIT: And after this happens, will Marvel finally "be Disney" for all you haters?![]()
Pixar and Marvel have the potential to have a very good and compatible marriage with each other. The article was very interesting, but still failed to answer the inevitable question of when.
It's funny thinking back after the Incredibles were released, I had wondered what a Pixar movie with a known superhero would look and be like. Maybe I am too stuck on the comic book versions of superheroes, but I think Pixars animated features are the perfect vehicle for the next generation of comic book characters.
I'm not a Marvel hater. But if they can top 'Iron Man' I will join your cause goof.![]()
I don't see why they have to top it.
As long as they make a heck of a movie (which they will it is Pixar), it'll be good for me.
Do the Pixar minds have it in them to make live action movies??? They have never made a bad movie but its just a completely diffrent form of art!!

I can't wait for Pixar to make a better Ant Man movie than Sony can make with Spider-Man, or Fox can make with X-Men, Daredevil, and Fantastic Four.

I don't think Pixar are officially developing the two live action films from Stanton and Brad Bird though are they? Sort of through association??
Yes, they do. People who know how to make movies, know how to make movies.
John Carter of Mars will blow us away, and then Ant Man will do the same.
I really hope this happens!
Avengers! Assemble!:sohappy:
I think it would be cool if they turned the Incredibles into a Marvel comic series! That would be awesome!!
Nope, both are Pixar.
Andrew Stanton said:Is developing a live-action movie the same process as developing a Pixar animated film?
Stanton: Well, it's not being done by the Pixar crew. It's being done by Disney, and I'm sort of being loaned out. We're sort of using any element that we need to to make the film right. We're not being purist with Pixar, but Pixar's a brand that you have to trust that's for all ages. This story of John Carter is not going to be an all-ages film.
