Pirates ride to stay on course

This ride does not need any changes. The only "change" , if you can call it that, is to perhaps replace the current AAs, with new updated ones.
Coincidentally, they did do this before, i believe it was late 80s , early 90s. They also did the same thing with several of the figures in SSE.

For those who believe it needs to be updated...updated how??

Well, the gun effect needs to be changed. At WDW, the ends of the pirates guns just light up with a little gun sound. At DL, smoke shoots out of the end and it lights up. It looks convincing. WDW needs to have their's like that.

Turn one of the pirates into a Jack Sparrow Look alike.

Hang the monkey from somewhere, holding the Aztec Gold.

Paint a ship in the background and write Dauntless on the hull.

No big changes, just subtle tribute to the movie!

exactly! i agree Davis!
i've always hated change....ALWAYS! doesn't matter if it was something as small as changing the color of a room...i hated it, and i still do hate it. but this kind of thing wouldn't be a change...consider it an addition! and as Davis said, make it to where it's not 'in-your-face'....just small, hidden additions. and for those who catches them, it can be a bit of a reminder of the movie. nothing major...but just a few minor details here or there.
