Well to me the drop in POTC scared the heck out of me the first time i went on it and im an enthusiast i will go on anything but i suppose the only reason its a bit scary is because its in the dark and u dont see it coming but after u rid eit u can tell there really isnt much to the hill at all...only loud and dark

That's o.k. my DH said his stomach dropped out and my son (4 at the time) loved it, but he hates rollercoasters. Likes the Maelstrom in Norway too. That's fun.:lol:

I am another who HATES drops (the main reason I don't do roller coasters), but I love PotC. I remember the disappointment when it was down for rehab on my honeymoon.:mad:

Anyway, I am looking forward to another ride this November.

Ditto, the drop (and it's only 1) is very very very small.

Should we start a "Disney fans who hate drops" club?

I hate drops in general, but flumes are worse for me :(

So, Pirates is iffy, i was tramatized by Dudley at IOA.

At Disneyland...The POTC has 2 Drops...Drop 1: 52, and is a 45 Degrees Angle...Drop 2: about 28....Steeper Drop though......the Darkness and height adds to the Fun of the First Dop....

POT-WDW..Unsure..Never been on it.......

I actualy Rode POTC 23 imes, w/in my 2 1/2 day stay at DL......that's a little over 6 Hours total of time..'cause it's abut 17-19 minutes long (depending if u get stuck or not)! :p

Drop 1: 52 FEET....and Drop 2: 28 FEET.......PS....Has anyone ever gotten "stopped" in misc. scenes..? it's so cool./.....

excep for the final "up the Waterfall(as wWalt Put it)", because if ur stuck in teh firiin \g scene, and u are infront of a guy w/ a gun...ohh..creepy :p....it was like he was yellin, shootin and staring at ME :p also the"fatter" singer in the 3 singers of "YOHO" in the burning city..just watch his eyes, they stare RIGHT AT U!..and a few others:p (sorry for ramblin :p)

Wonder what with that ride a ioa dudley last 2 years i was there it was broken down and got stuck on the ride. then this year it was broken again.
