I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. Nonetheless, what changes were made to make POTC more politically correct? Is there a website where I can get more info? thanks

When a pirate chased a woman with pies? I think it may have been changed to a woman chasing a pirate with pies. I am probably incorrect, but it involved something along those lines.

There was a pirate chasing a woman in a balcony. They changed it to the woman chasing the pirtae with a broom. I guess it was seen as sexist or something. Kinda in my opininion.

The original wouldn't have been seen as sexist but more of the truth of stuff that happend during the pirates time, But with the way it is now it makes the ride slightly more comical.

I felt it was pretty lame on both fronts, one and mostly for Disney for caving but, on the other hand, not much of a compromise:zipit:

Yes, the Cantina scene was changed to be more PC. Now insteed of the pirate chacing the woman out of , he now chances her to try to get the food (or drink, I can't recall) on the tray she's holding. Also, the woman that's chacing the pirate is now chancing him because he's trying to steel her pig. The pirate in front of that scene in front of the girl in the barrel who once held her nightgown now holds a treasure map insteed.

I don't even know why we call it politically correct. All that means is that something that is true is changed becuse it offends somone. Are we going to deny that pirates chased women? I think anyone with half a brain knows its true. Besides that I think the age that kids learn about ______ is about 10 now. It might even be lowere than that. I think changing it was a bunch of bull.:zipit:
