Pirates of the Carribean 2 & 3

I was reading abhe plans for the next 2 PotC movies. Anyone else hear anything along these lines?

British stars KEIRA KNIGHTLEY and ORLANDO BLOOM are in the middle of secret negotiations to spend 10 months of next year (05) shooting two sequels to PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK OF PEARL back-to-back.

I read this on some website and thought I'd share it. I think it would be great to shoot them both at the same time. I also read they were thinking of putting them out like 6 months from eachother. That I think might be a little much, but the movie really left itself open to it, the first one at least, and as long as they make them as well as the first with as great of a storyline, they could prove to be blockbusters in their own right. It kind of reminds me of Indiana Jones type where the sequels, well made of course, could go on for a long time.

Yup, I've heard about the shooting back-to-back. It seems to be confirmed in many places. If I recall, I think it was actually confirmed semi-officially, as well, in some interview. I don't remember where, though. But it really looks like that's what's gonna happen.

it's def easier to have the actors all come back for one time rather than two but releasing them 6 months apart didnt really work for the Matrix.....it should be at least a year apart.

making movies in a block is easier... disney can actually save money this way.. that way they pay the actors money, maby not more in the end.

I hope they write these 2 movies in a great way, much like the origianal yet having it get it's own identity.

rumors have it, also, that Depp's character's father will be portrayed in one of if not both movies by none other than keith richards.

That is true too There are many reports on the PotC sequels on comingsoon.net
