Pirates of the Caribbean vs Splash Mountain

Splash 100% all the way. It's one of the greatest rides ever created in my opinion. You have everything. There are some thrills, great songs and music, fantastic theming with AAs and physical sets, and it's nice and long. It tells a good story as well. Pirates just isn't on the same level at WDW.

Totally agree. I still consider Splash the high water mark of post-Epcot WDI.

I gave the lead to Pirates, but I happily admit that both attractions are first rate rides. Even WDW's version of POTC.

After seeing Pirates at DL and Paris, WDW's is meh. Change it to PatF and leave Splash alone.

Splash edges it out because it’s the total package. I like Pirate’s line, but I love Splash’s. Pirates Life for Me is great, but it doesn’t quite meet Zip A Dee Doo Dah, Laughing Place and all of the other songs. “Dead Man tell no tale” is spookier than “time to be turning around” so I’ll give it that. Man, it’s close, and PotC does so much perfectly, but Splash is just the ultimate ride.
