#9 on the list probably goes back to the EPCOT City plan...Walt discussed having weather-controlled areas within the city. I'm pretty sure all he meant was something like what we consider indoor shopping malls today, but it's been misconstrued to mean something different.

You mean #5? Like your title suggests?
I call shenanigans. Even if Depp WANTED to, you can't just pop animatronics in and out of place like a friggin' Lego. If he wanted to play Jack on the attraction, he would be looking at a 12+ hour day with no breaks.

I don't know, I think he might be the type of guy to do that sort of thing.

It's cool to think that you're seeing the actual Jack Sparrow as he is in the movies. I'm not sure if it's true, but I would like to think it is.

Sorry guys, definitely meant #5.

I'd definitely call bull on it. Seems complicated to fit him in, either with his animatronic or in a random scene he may not really fit into. Then again, his animatronic seems pretty out of place in my opinion.

I could see him maybe doing a Pirate Tutorial or two, since he's filmed 20 Pirates of the Caribbean movies by now.

Once watching the pirate tutorial at WDW I swear it was actually Johnny Depp the actor was that good playing the character. I now it my rational mind it is not possible but in my pixie dust mind it was him.

Oh, and in case there is any doubt that really is Pooh Bear...no a human in a costume

One of my friends came back with pics of them with the CM and swore it was Depp. He was a pretty good double, I just couldnt convince her that it wasnt the actor. But yeah... kudos to Disney for placing the right CM in that role.
