Pirates effects May 19, 2014

Mist screen was working. Haven't seen that work in a while.

Mermaid effect not working. I've only seen it once. Did they shut it down?

The scene with the women chasing the pirates was frozen. I've seen that once before.

The mermaids weren't working last week when we were there. Also, the music was just instrumental. You couldn't make out one word on the soundtrack.

I also rode it at 5/19. Both mermaid effects worked. I saw the bubbles and the mermaid projections.

Is the "Dead men tell no tales" audio louder now? Last time I visited WDW (last fall) I could barely hear it every time I rode it (about 5 times during the week I stayed).

I too rode on 5/19. The mist screen was working great! The effect worked so good. And on my ride, both mermaid effects also worked... the bubbles and projections. Lady chasing pirate was frozen for me too. Still hate the Jack Sparrow ending though. I really miss the two guys tied up in the treasure room with the crazy drunken pirates out front. Stinks that it was changed.

Seemed OK to me. I could hear it.
