Joanna was there, I should know, I saw her!

I sure was!:) The party was great. Even though it rained in the beginning, it didn't bother me (because I was in Toontown). Although I was afraid it would get worse. Anyway. The first party was not crowded at all (to me). My spot for the parades was a ghost town. No one was there. The majority of the characters from the last batch of P&P parties were out, except for the princes.:( The only guys who were out were John Smith and Captain Jack. Here are the characters I saw:
Toontown
Minnie, Aurora, and Daisy
Snow White and Dopey
Cinderella, Suzy, and Perla

Fantasyland
Ariel
Carmen, Fantail, Sebastain, and I believe Flounder
The Stepfamily (Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia)

Tomorrowland
Mickey and Donald
Chip, Dale, Lilo, and Stitch

Liberty Square
Pocahontas, John Smith, and Meeko

Adventureland
Captain Jack
Jasmine, Abu, and Genie
Pluto and Goofy
Captain Hook and Mr. Smee
Camels (don't sign)
*Prince Ali (does photos after his show)

I'll make sure to remember anything and everything and not to mention to take pictures of tomorrow's party. Here's hoping that my camera doesn't fail me.

I was there for saturday's party as well. I thought it was well worth the extra money. The above characters were what I saw as well. The lines for the rides were really short. I think it was the shortest line I have ever seen for Peter Pan's Flight. It was only like 10 minutes! The lines for the characters were a little crazy. I was talking to one guy who got on the line for Jack Sparrow. He said they told him it was a 30 minute wait and he ended up waiting for 2 hours. I was in Toon Town and all those lines said 30 minute waits but were more like an hour. I think the best advice is do the meet and greets as soon as you get there and then do the rides. The fireworks were amazing! And the parade was great to. It was a really fun night

We too were there on Sat. night. I was standing in the rain waiting to do photos w/Pirate Mickey & Donald. I thought the lines for the characters were crazy long most of the night. The parade wasn't crowded at all and many of the rides were either average or short. I thought all in all, it was a bit more crowded than some of the EMH's we did during our 9 night stay. But we did see lots of chocolate messes, esp. later in the evening in Minnies House. Why do people think its alright to drop their trash wherever? Loved the parade and fireworks.

I went Last Night.

It was amazing, purely amazing. Every single little bit of it. From the park, to the theme, to the line times, to the character interactions, to the decor, to my girlfriend, all of it.

The Fireworks were even better than i remembered them from the parties in the first half of the year, and the parade really did seem longer. Everything overall was great, but it was the small tidbits of the night that i loved the most:

THAT little guy...or should i say big guy... was the second most amazing thing I've seen in a night time parade. It was cute.

From the instant I saw this, the biggest smile came over my face. since we took a picture of these two at the Flower and Garden Festival, my girlfriend and i always wish we could've retaken it and pose as mickey and minnie... and ever so surprisingly...we got our chance.

She got to finally take a picture with Pocahontas, which was a big biiig thing for her... so big, that we made sure to do that first in fear that wait times might be too long later...actually, the lines weren't that bad all night.

Some of the people who went that night...ohhhh wow... they looked amazing! Just like true princesses/pirates. From toddlers to old fogies...everybody and anybody took advantage of it, and it was beautiful!

Oh, oh! annnnd... I tried a dole whip for the first time! You guys were right... they tasted beautiful. Sadly, i misordered and didn't get the float. I promise, next time i'll go for a float.

Gah, i have so much more, i really do...but you see... I don't have more time to add anything... It was the best night I ever had at Disney World this whole summer...and that is saying a lot.

(If I missed anything kid, fill them in for me.)

A quick question: Does the chocolate survive in the August heat? DS and I did P&PP in February and we collected piles of chocolate that we're just managing to finish off now, I'd hate to collect a whole lot of chocolate only to have it melt before we can get it home!

We'll be attending on the 28th! :sohappy:

I was at the 1st one, and it was a blast. Nice to be in the park with a lighter crowd, but mostly a fun, party crowd! Costumes were great, lots of character access, the parade and fireworks were just awesome. Truly a great time. The kids loved it.

Is this just a YOAMD thing or is it going to stay for a while? I hope I make it in time to see it with my son.

There hasn't been anything said about the P&P continuing again in Jan. But I hope they do. I would love to go again in either Jan or March 2008.
