What kind of pins do you get at Disney? I didn't realise they existed!!

I know about the First Timer, Happy Birthday & Anniversary ones but are there any others.

Wondering if we are pushing the First Timer one but kids would love one! Have been twice before but never stayed on property until this time!

wow, there are soooooo many pins millions of them! they have cruella to a potc medallion to jimminy cricket to sleeeping beauty. there are sooo amny to pick from you cant just get one. LOL

Thanks for that link - will go shopping for sure for some treats for them (that'll be Daisy Duck & Jack Sparrow then!!).

What about the "special" ones you get from Guest Relations what ones do they have - is it just first timer, birthday & anniversary ones?

Don't celebrate anything special while we are there, except first time staying on park but just wondered what they had.

I think your talking about the buttons you get from GR. There are a few different ones they will give you.
First Visit, Happy Anniversary, Just Married, Happy Birthday,

Honorary Citizen buttons are givin out from the dream squad. I dont know if GR has these buttons or not but my daughter got hers from a dream squad member.

haven't heard of the dream squad? i can definitely tell you are a newbie. it's part of the year of a million dreams, they are the ones that you definitely want to run into to!

Yes, Im a fairly newbie - been twice but thought it was all characters, rides & parades - learnt a lot more now - and still learning!

Knew they had updated parades & stuff and hadn't heard of year of a million wishes (or if I did, I thought it was the new parade name!). Just looked into it a bit more.

Is there any way to organise a dream then? or ask if one is possible? as I know of 1 my daughter would die for and it's not your normal "I sit at the front of the parade" dream?

No, unfortunately. All dreams are randomly drawn (even the little ones). So there is no way to know when/where a dream will be given out.

They call them "PIN TRADERS!!! I'm 1:lookaroun :lookaroun . There not cheep though. There's pins for $16.00. The cheepest pin I've seen is for $6.00. There usally around $9.00.

I have about 100 pins overall, they did not come cheap.
They were worth it though.

Also, it's my birthday when I go to disney so i'll wear a funky hat, and a big
badge saying ITS MY BIRTHDAY and I might get recognised by the dream squad lol.

Watch yourself if you decide to get involved with pins. I've been collecting for 8 years, have well over 1000 pins, and let me tell you it is quite the expensive hobby!

Same here! Guilty as charged, I've bought a couple of the huge ones. My favorite one is the 50th Celebration WDW mirror one. It is so addicting for pin collecting. I would have to say my favorite one overall is the POTC 2 pin with the Captain Jack dangle.
