Pinocchio water ride with new Mack technology

So after looking over some views of the TRON construction site, I'm wondering if my idea will have the room for it. The Speedway footprint is big, but not THAT big:

What are your thoughts there?

Very cool ride concept. As far as special effects go. There are two things that don’t go well together. Water and electricity needed for the special effects.

So then it would never be able to work in reality? What if we used the technology for whatever the rides are in Fantasy Springs in TDS?

And what about my earlier question of whether or not it could fit physically in the Speedway footprint? It takes up a lot of space, but it's not THAT big. Here's another image (albeit an older one) to show what I mean, which shows the entirety of the Speedway footprint:

I’m not necessarily saying it wouldn’t work but I believe the maintenance / upkeep wouldn’t be worth the investment.

As far as the location your pointing out I personally don’t see an issue with it. The speedway has been shortened before so it could be reworked again. Although if it’s shortened again it’s gonna be a short ride around the track lol.

The idea is to eliminate the Speedway completely.

I never knew it, but Disneyland almost got a Monstro ride. In the end though they went with Storybookland Canal Boats instead.

As an aside, I also thought of something that doesn't take up nearly as much space, a swing ride, like one of the abandoned concepts for the California Adventure from back in the day:

It shouldn't take up quite as much space as the water ride. I might even tweak it so that it's themed to Stromboli's Puppet Theater Starring Pinocchio. But the big difficulty here is how it can fit thematically (not physically; it will take over the Speedway) over in this area with the tea cups and Storybook Circus nearby. Also, I don't want it to be visible from Tomorrowland close by.
