Your vicious backhanded statements.

You keep dodging the point. Where did I insult it you? How did I insult how?

Where did it stem off of?

Why do you keep responding? Because you want to insult people and be left alone, well I will not be insulted and let it lie.

Now you are trying to make yourself out to be the victim,

Who is the one attacking again?

In order for this to stop we both had to stop posting on the matter at hand, you choose not to.

I never dodged anything, in post #9 I clearly delineated exactly what you wrote that offended me, but I will quote your words here directly.

"Be sure to teach your kids that quality, not quantity of pins is what makes the experience great." In response to my advice to buy large lots. I ignored this attack, but then you quoted my post reguarding the content of pin lots and stated, "There's still the principle of spending hard earned money on cheap knockoffs, and a lot of them." Making it clear you feel that you are above those, myself included, that order pin lots. You in no uncertain terms called me unprincipled.

Now you want to play innocent and act as if you did nothing. I will not let your attacks and duplicity stand.

I never attacked you I defended myself, and still am defending myself, against your aspersions.

Additionally, I never said I wanted to end this argument. I questioned your sincerity in wanting to drop the subject. I stated I would not let your attacks stand. You said you wanted to end it, but clearly having the last word is much more important to you.

Finally, if you are going to act superior, you should at least learn some basic English. The phrase is "stem from", not "stem off of", and you can't end a sentence with either of those phrases due to the fact that they end in prepositions.

How is someone simply offering a good piece of advice attacking your character?

Wow, really, you are going to jump in here? Read the thread. She directly quotes me and says my course of action is unprincipled. It was the second time. I let the first one slide.

Yeah I am because I think it's absolutely pathetic that you feel that someone making a valid point is a personal attack on your character. So it's her opinion that buying pins in a large quantity and inevitably buying fakes or having a ton of duplicates is a bit pointless. Does that mean you're a bad person for doing so? No. Did she imply you're a bad person for doing so? No. I will however.

Also lets review what she did say "There's still the principle of spending hard earned money on cheap knockoffs, and a lot of them." If you bought a lot that consisted of 100 fake pins that you are going to take to Disney, in an effort to trade in your fake pins so that Disney will give you real pins in exchange, how is that not unprincipled? Disney can't retrade those pins so you are no only costing Disney money for giving away pins, which by the way is not the purpose of pin trading, but you're also devaluing the pin trading experience.

If you're buying a lot of certified Disney pins that Disney can keep on them and retrade then your idea is a great one! If not them I'm sorry but your idea is a very bad one. If enough people were to do what you're condoning pin trading would cost Disney money and you know whats going to happen as soon as it costs them money? It's getting cut.

Also on a final note its funny you chose to exclude her explination for her first sentence "I also suggest not buying online from non-official Disney dealers because I've spent too much money on trying to expand my collection, only to get a variety of duplicates and dupe pins."

So what exactly are you upset about?

First I have never bought or traded unlicensed merchandise and to accuse me of doing so is malicious. Did I ever promote the idea of swindling Disney or devaluing pin trading in anything I have written? No. I would never do such a thing and I have never even implied doing such a thing. Another poster accused me of promoting such behavior without any evidence or motivation.

If you read the whole thread I said many times that these are passive aggressive and backhanded insults. She isn't stating her opinion on pin trading, she is stating her views reguarding my posts, my views on pin trading and me. She even quotes me in a post to directly address me. It is clear that she is verbally assaulting me, but doesn't have the character to come out and say it directly.

I am upset at being called unprincipled and greedy. And now you have directly called me pathetic. What is pathetic is someone jumping in without even reading the entire thread and defending someone who insults other posters and then plays the victim.
