I have been wanting to start collecting, and trading pins for some time now. Where would a good place to start collecting?? Also where in Disney has the best selection of pins. I will be staying at WL in Nov.

Each park has their central pin trading area, as does Downtown Disney. Your best bet is to buy a starter lanyard and a few other trading pins and just start trading with Cast Members. Just avoid all of the hardcore traders because they will rip you off. I'd say go to Downtown Disney to get started because it's a bit more relaxed and less crowded than the parks.

You can also go on Ebay and buy a lot of pins. You can find trader lots for a decent price. I found the ones i bought at the parks i did not want to trade. Pins are not really cheap either at the theme parks. Individual ones are about $7.95-about 15.95. You can find lots on Ebay for about $ 1.34 each pin. We bought a lot of 100 and traded everyone for the ones we were looking for. We found alot of the ones we wanted. There is also a seller on Ebay who will even deliever them to your resort. We used her service and it worked ell for us. I hope this helps.

Start with a character or a theme you like and then buy some of your favorites at the parks or other Pin Trading locations. Another thought would be to buy a couple from ebay with the intention of trading them for ones you will like on your next trip! BTW when you are shopping for pins on Ebay make sure they have the official Pin Trading seal on the back of the pin.
A good source for everything Pin Trading is Disneypins.com they have all the info you will need to begin your collection.
