Pin Trading Onboard

I was looking at some "Personal Navigators" online to get an idea of what goes on onboard the ships. I saw that they have pin trading at certain times during the cruise. Does anyone know if this is the only opportunity to trade pins onboard (I'm assuming this is with other passengers) or do the crew members trade pins also like cast members do in the parks?

I've not been on a Disney cruise before so any help will be appreciated.

From what I can tell yes that is the only opportunity to trade pins onboard. We are planning on going on our 1st cruise next year as well.

Went on the Disney Wonder last May and here's what I've seen as far as pin trading. The pin trading time was only a cast member with a cart outside of the theater. Nothing else really.

All of the cast members in the gift shops and guest relations (plus some others) have lanyards and will trade pins at any time. Other than that you're pretty much left on your own.

There are some pins that you can only get on the cruise so make sure you look out for them! I got a lot of cool ones on the past trip!
