Pin code Scenario Question

Before I have to call Disney reservation, anyone know about this scenario?

Reservation: 2 bedroom villa 12/9-12/16
I made the reservation under my name with my Wife, Daughter, Mother in law, and Father in law all listed as well

Mother in law received a pin code offer today for the 40% off 12/12-12/18.

Can I apply the pin code to our reservation even though I made it under my name? Again, she is listed on the reservation. If so, will we get the discount for the first few days we are there (12/9-12/11) with the pin code offer from 12/12-12/18?

I realize as a last resort we can cancel the reservation and have my mother in law do a new one under her name but I'm trying to avoid that headache.

I had a chance to call them. You can apply a pin code sent to a member of your party however this particular pin code was invalid for our trip since our first night was before the eligible day. We can change our days but then we get into Holiday season pricing which is about $1,000 more then what we booked. At this point I think we sit and wait for the general public discount if there is one for our trip...or free dining.

You could book two reservations and use the code for the last four nights of your trip.
