Picture/video clip transfer...

Howdy folks,

If my memory serves me correct, isn't there a place in Magic Kingdom where you can take your memory cards and have the pictures/video clips transferred from them onto a CD???

If so, does this place still exist and where is it? Also, do they transfer video clips as well.

I am really trying to avoid bringing my huge, heavy laptop with me on this trip.

I have two 8GB memory cards which is enough for about 5,000 pictures; however, that number drops dramatically when you start factoring in video clips.

Just wanted to know. Thanks guys and gals!!!!

Have a magical day.

I'm not an expert on these kinds of things, but from what I remember, you can view and print your PhotoPass photos at Town Square Exposition Hall (where they have a "camera center"). Maybe this is where you can do what you'd like to do..?

Yes, each park camera center will take your digital media and burn you CD's.

I have done it once or twice.

1) It is costly - forget how much, but it was up there - maybe 20- 30 bucks a disk if I recall

2) It's not a while you wait type deal. You have to leave your media and come back for it. Sometimes the next day. That means unless you have a back-up, there is no using your camera until you get it back.
