hi everybody I'm kind of new here but was wondering if I could get some links to pics and maybe some explaining of behind the scenes area. want to learn more about disney but things are not always easy to find. thanks in advance.

hey I'm dave and I am also fairly new here, just been so busy getting stuff ready and checking last minute things, we leave august 1st to go down to WDW. woo hoo.

I'm no expert but backlot photos might be kinda tough to find. I went on the Hidden Treasures of World Showcase tour at EPCOT which took us "backstage" a couple times, but the requirement was NO PICTURES while backstage. (Interesting side note: we also were in the World Showcase before it opened and we were told that we could not take any pictures of CM's getting the park ready to open or of anything that wasn't ready to open like streets being hosed and stuff)

But maybe there's a whoel underground internet WDW backstage photo trading culture I just don't know about.

hi really i'm just looking for any back areas. i enjoy things like this. from storage to construction to how it works and how it runs

It's really going to be difficult for any Cast Members to get you any pictures. Taking pictures of backstage areas is one of the bigger no-nos.

Try doing a search on the web for backstage Disney pictures. That may help.

If you're interested you can try driving around the entire WDW property. I'm pretty sure you'll find some "backstage" stuff there. I took a bus ride one time and we passed a couple of "backstage" areas. I think we saw the Xmas storage by MK and the laundry building too. I seriously think that the bus driver was new and didn't know all the guest routes yet.

I heard that on another message board there are pics of backstage, but I never went to look. You have to be really gutsy to do something like that.

My girlfriend goes on this message board a lot, it's The Disney Information Station, wdwinfo.com or disboards.com.

HI. I think disneypix.com have some pictures of the utilidors on their site. My dad worked for Disney (he was an architect for DLP) we had loads of pictures and stuff from the MK, but they had to go back to Disney :-( If only.......
