Pick the best day for MNSSHP

Does anyone think that if I order them Friday morning that they could get here (Indiana) before October 11th?

You can also do "Will Call" and pick them up in person at the ticket window. I would think that would be plenty of time if you wanted them mailed. I would assume it wouldn't give you that option at checkout if it wouldn't arrive in time.

Fair point. I hadn't thought of that.

Now.... the only other thing I need to decide is what we are going to dress up as. :cautious:

Fridays are busiest because it's easier for Florida residents to go on a weekend so no one has to miss school/work the next day. Since they don't do any Saturday night parties and Sunday parties mean an early start Monday, Fridays are the days you get more locals going in addition to the regular tourists.

We are planning on going Friday, 9/27. If we wait to buy the tickets at our hotel when we arrive on the 26th, will we still get the slightly cheaper advanced price or should I just get them online?

As someone mention before I would do will call. Just pick them up at Guest relations at MK. I have done that in the past. No though I only purchase them the day off because of weather. I had rain once during MVMCP and it was a disaster.

Guess I'm the exception rather than the norm. I'm going on a Sunday. Ironically, I have a FR Weekday Select Pass which means I can't go to the parks on weekends or seasonal blackouts. But because it is an AP, I can purchase a separate discounted MNSSHP ticket for Sunday night.

Yeah most people don't want to be at a theme park until after midnight if they have to go to school/work the next day. A weekday AP wouldn't work for us because we're in Tampa and it would be too hard to constantly have to take time off for day trips out there. But if Sundays work for you - go for it! :D Just saying for most locals, Friday is the best option.

I'm taking a week's vacation. The bottom line is this: It's cheaper to purchase a FRWSP for $211 than a 4-day park hopper for $222. Plus, it's year-round and gives me an extra day in the week I'm going (In that week, I get 5 days rather than 4 with regular park hours and the pass doesn't immediately expire either. A bonus 6th day counting MNSSHP from 4-Midnight Sunday).

They sell ten thousand tickets per night for the parties and yes sometimes they do actually sell out, but most of the dates that sell out are toward the end of October. Occasionally an early October party date will sell out and those are usually a Friday.

I cant help but say and this has nothing to do with this topic but I just love your avatar!

Because of the new Fantasy Land expansion, I wonder if they will increase the amount of tickets per event. Since the park is now bigger it can hold more people. I hope not, since I'm going on October 31st and that day is the busiest.
Is the park really bigger now, or didn't the expansion just replace Mickey's Toon Town??

It is bigger now, but not by much. A lot of the land that was taken up right by the old Dumbo location (Little Mermaid and old 20,000 Leagues) is now accessible as part of the NFL.

Still can't believe that Disney picked the name for it's Monster's Inc. ride as "Monsters Inc. Laugh Factory". (You figure it out.)

Yes, I will be there on the 31st also. Starting to wonder if I should have picked another night?!
