PI vs CP

Another question from me,
what happens if you apply for a professional internship and the college program. Then you hear back from the college program and accept, but still haven't heard about the PI... are you allowed to apply your $100 fee towards the PI and switch placements?

I don't know the answer, but if you are lucky enough to be accepted for a PI you really shouldn't be worrying about that $100.

If you get the PI all you have to do is contact the CP and let them know and you'll be fine. I'm not sure what happens to the $100 but accepting a CP position won't hurt your chances of a PI.

Wow I'm in the same boat that you are in. I graduate in Spring 09 and would like to apply for a CP and PI. If I don't get accepted for the PI, I would still like to do a CP. But if I get the PI, I would defnitely take that over the CP.

so, what exactly is the Professional internship? i didn't even know this option existed. (where have i been?) what are the differences, benefits, advantages, etc?
