It really does seem that this is on par with the quality traditionally expected from the MK where the external theming is as important as the attraction experience. Kudos to Imagineering.

I wonder why they decided to do the one roof on Eric's Castle in blue instead of red. In the movie all the roofs are the same reddish color.

Maybe because blue lasts longer in the sun? No idea. It's very interesting though.

Maybe it's meant to represent Ariel's presence in the castle, after she becomes human and all that. She's makin' changes!
