Winnie the Pooh is expected to reopen to guests on November 15 2010 with it's all new interactive queue area.

Actually, only the ride is scheduled to reopen on the 15th, with a temp rope-and-stanchion queue outside the walls. The new queue will be revealed on the 18th, which is also when fastpass distribution will resume.

That said, I can't wait!! Me and some other CMs got a peek a few days ago when one of the construction workers opened a door and let us look. It looks fab!

Looks fantastic, thanks for the pics. The FLE is great!:)

OK, back to waiting for the big DTD news. The latest rumor is they are bringing in a barge for the demo work and motions is now gutted.

Be back soon.

... and it's looking like I thought it would with the top portion untouched.... sigh:brick:

Are they really leaving the "castle border" up there? That would be disappointing.

Both of these. I have been watching this slow, painful renovation and am appalled that they have kept that castle wall untouched. I thought that was the point of this renovation, to place "Pooh" outside the castle walls, not underneath them. Don't the upper castel walls end before you get to Mrs. Potts? And then they pick back up afterward in the 100 Acre Wood? This, my friends, is no good.

I love this new sign....I think this whole refurbishment of the queue is a great way to enhance the ride. I can't wait to have my picture taken under the tree with the sign on it!

I love Pooh Bear!!

I think it looks very nice so far. I am going to check it out the day it opens, but I can't believe I am going to go to a ride to see the queue when I really don't care all that much about the attraction itself.

The FLE model shows that there were plans to cover up the castle roof with a painted backdrop of trees, sort of like the roof at T-REX. There's still plenty of time for them to do that...if the plans haven't been dropped.

Hmm, maybe this part will come later, when the castle walls are going up? I hope so.
