Indeed, quite surprising. All of the recent tests have surprised me with how high up the balloons appear to be. Whatever they are testing looks big.

This is totally going to ruin the carefully designed sightlines at Pop Century.
Well maybe the sight lines will distract from the awful food at Caribbean beach! This is totally going to ruin the carefully designed sightlines at Pop Century.
The plan designers are currently pursuing involves completely demolishing three or four of the resort's six "islands"--at least half of the resort--and building a DVC villa tower. The proposed design could see a DVC villa building up to 7 stories tall at Caribbean Beach.
Thought this was interesting. Not sure how true it is though:

Oh... well then ignore my ignorance! I had went though a few articles on there, guess I didn't think to look at the year. That's August 22, 2014...
I accept that DVC will continue to expand its footprints throughout Walt Disney World. However, architecturally and thematically, I cannot stand the towering skyscrapers that loom over the original resorts. I truly wish the annexes more closely followed the design cues of the original resorts. Is it too much to build 3-5 story cabanas at Disney's CBR?
A Haunted Mansion hotel would be awesome! The theming would be so easy. Beast's Castle would be amazing. And couldn't they technically build a Marvel themed hotel?I don't know why Disney doesn't draw from its iconic films or attractions for resort ideas. Who wouldn't want to stay in a Haunted Mansion hotel, or Tower of Terror, or the Beast's Castle? Those would be awesome, and I bet TDO wouldn't have much trouble keeping them full.

I'm trying to think because I know technically it's "theme park rights" so I think they could if they wanted to. They just can't use the Marvel name, not even in DisneylandNot in Florida, I don't think.
