Are there plans to re-theme the generation bridge? It is kind of silly to have it themed the way it is currently.

I'm sure the eventual plan is to convert Pop Century to match the Art of Animation theme.

No idea right now but if I had to guess it will run an as needed dedicated system much like the All Stars. When AoA is completed the combined capacity of Pop and AoA will be less than what all three All Stars hold. Because of that fact I doubt Disney will initially give each resort it own full time dedicated system.

All-Stars combined total 5,544 rooms

Pop Century 2,880
AoA 1,984

Pop + AoA = 4,864

so a difference of 680 rooms - however, AoA will have suites, so the actual capacity as far as the number of people may be closer than you think.


I believe that Disney WILL give each resort its own dedicated bus due to the large distance between the front of each resort. The distance to go around is too great.

All-Stars are built in a straight line, so to get from one to the next is very easy.

That is what I have been saying all along. Pop Half Century just doesn't seem like it would continue to be all that succesful with AoA across the water.

Is this just your thoughts, or a confirmed rumor you've heard? It would be so awesome to have POP converted... while I love it, the animation theme is just so much more fun!

What would we want to see POP re-themed to if that were the case? Tangled? Monsters Inc.? Or more classic... like Jungle Book? Sword in the Stone? Oh! Even though it's not all animation, how cool would it be to see the animation scenes from Mary Poppins played up?!

It's just my thought. Pop Century with only 50 years is nonsense and I would imagine the theme isn't too popular (certainly not timeless). I would guess they would save money and keep the characters they already have and just re-do the non-character elements, keeping Lady and the Tramp, Jungle Book, perhaps Roger Rabbit and replacing the others.

Man I hope not. I LOVE Pop Century. I am on board to keep Art of Animation and Pop Century separate.
