Photomatt Pics - WDW MK and ST 12.13.07 thru 12.21.07

Howdy.

This is my first post with my pictures being hosted by smugmug, so please be patient if there are any problems. There are a lot of pictures in this post. Smugmug is a little slower than photobucket, but I still like it better. I originally posted this on another board over several days. I am doing most of it all at once over here, so the pictures are not in any particular order.

Since all of the pictures I took that day can be found on my smugmug site, I will not post the exposure information for each picture here.

I like the clouds. It was a pretty day, but still warm and humid.

As I entered the park I was surprised at how empty and calm it felt. It really was not empty, but the park had a surprisingly calm feel. It was odd. I don't know how to explain it better.

Buzz looks REALLY determined!

The ride stopped here, so I was able to take a pretty clear shot.

I did not bring my tripod, so this picture was taken without one.

This is my favorite lighting scheme.

Ahh that explains your ability to get the dark ride shots. Still looks like you had the ISO jacked quite a ways up. I always wondered what kind of shots the 1.4 could get.

I liked the photo of the inside of the castle looking towards Main Street.

It would get even better shots if the AF worked 100%. I need to send it in for repair, but I need to wait until I buy another lens. I am still debating on what I want first.

Also, because I am using a DX camera, the focal length of the lens is 75mm. I can't wait to try it on the D3 with ISO 25600.

Really awesome photos.

On a side note, for those that dont know, that target at the very bottom of Zurgs rocket ship is one of the 100,000 point targets. I got lucky and got stuck there one day at just the right angle to where I got 9 shots at it. You have to hit it coming into the room and then leaving. You cant get to it straight on unless you have one of the few blasters that are actually broke and will tilt forward far enough.

COOL! Thanks for the info. I will try that out next time. Every now and then I put down the camera and enjoy the rides.
