The walls have started to go up at the Main Street Train Station and the stairs on the west side are now walled off.

The construction on Pooh's tree has come along quickly. They are starting to put wire mesh around the steel that will eventually become the trunk and branches. They have also hung a beehive in the tree.

The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland has received new signs. The old signs had exposed neon, however I am not sure how much I like the new signs.

The Soarin’ sign that used to be on the side as you went towards the Land has now been moved to the planter on the side. It now faces Innoventions and is right across from the Lands main sign.

For those of you familiar with the construction of Toll Road 429 and the construction of Reedy Creek Road/Western Way to connect to 429. Here is a photo of the construction where the Disney road (Reedy Creek Road/Western Way) will meet up with Buena Vista Drive just south of Coronado Springs.

And finally here is the latest progress on E:E. Some of the scaffolding has been removed from around the second mountain. They have also begun planting more trees around the mountain.

I am pretty sure the pull through posted about earlier is still going on. It take a long time to do also the have to stop the train at each tunnel to check for clearance or even add the mess for the tunnel to get the right clearance.

I hate that they have started such a MAJOR Rehab on the train station right in the middle of the peak season, seems October or November would have been a better time to start it.

Disney wants to cover the track so that no one can see the track and take any more pictures while they are testing. Especially when they start human trials, if there is a 'problem' they dont' want park guests taking pictures of the remnants, so to speak.

Isn't that what the Disney Yeti is for?
If he were in pin form he would look something like this. Maybe he'll have some mouse ears.

Seems like Expedition Everest gets better looking every time I see it. Its going to be an unbelievable ride when it opens next year.
I agree, I can't wait to see it completed.

Thanks for the update... I too cannot wait to see (or for that matter, ride) the finished product!

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw that... Why start on a project like that now, when a non-peak season is just a few months away? :veryconfu

Well, the thing is that the Train Station rehab will run a long time. It will not be completed until December. Thus the rehab will also be going on during the non peak season as well.
