Photo shoots during a cruise?

Happy Saturday fellow pixie dust addicts! I have a question for all of you! DH and I are going on a cruise for our first anniversary in January. We'd originally wanted to go to WDW to do a MK bridal session since our dates were blacked out during our wedding week, but since we won't get to go to WDW, we're trying to figure out how to work in a photo shoot during our cruise. We've been told that getting the DCL photographers on board (pun intended) with a photo shoot is really hit or miss. How does this work with Shutters? We're considering trying to do something on or around Nassau. Anyone have any experience or input? Thanks in advance!

I think as early as possible (when Shutters opens) you're supposed to go inquire with them about availability. They'll be able to tell you if they have someone free to do a private shoot, when, and where. That's my understanding. I could be wrong.

Do you have any pictures you can share? I've heard the DCL photographers are horrible, but I feel like that can't always be the case.
